King Jesus is at the center of everything we do at Anchored Church. We want to devote ourselves to a life of following the call to make disciples who follow The King in all of life for all of life. We are a church that cultivates that life through being anchored in three core values: The Word, The Table, and The Community.

To play, press and hold the enter key. To stop, release the enter key.

We are a church that is anchored in The Word. The Word is no ordinary book, for it tells the story we all have been longing to hear. We call this story the gospel.  The story of King Jesus is a story about beauty, betrayal, covenant and redemption. It is a story that shows us how our King has rescued humanity from evil and how He will bring about His Kingdom when He Returns. This story guides us in everything we do as it not only rescues us, but also calls, sanctifies, equips, and sends us out to love people where they are and tell them the story of Jesus.

We are a church that is anchored in The Table. The Table is an ordinary place, but central to life in the kingdom of God is eating and drinking together, like Jesus did with his friends, with other disciples of Jesus, for that is where community happens and lives are changed. At Anchored, disciples are made and family is cultivated through our small groups, what we call TableTalk, and lifelong friendships in following Jesus are found studying the scriptures, eating good food, and doing life together.

We are a church that is anchored in The Community. The Gospel gathers unlikely people into a new family. This means we prioritize our life together to support, celebrate, mourn, struggle, love, forgive, and serve one another. But this new family is called to love our community by following Jesus in our homes, neighborhoods, and workplaces, being a people that have been sent out to share and show the love of Jesus to all.The problems that face The Shore are our problems. We are responsible to bring the Gospel in order to tackle the issues that deteriorate The Shore. The church is called to identify, empower, equip, and release people to thrive in God’s unique call on their life within the local church and the larger community.
